Why Blunders & Breakthroughs?

Because every story deserves to be told—even the messy ones.

Blunders & Breakthroughs started as a series of raw, unfiltered LinkedIn updates—just me, sharing the highs, the faceplants, and everything in between.

I believe in building in public, not just the wins but the awkward, messy, “what was I thinking?” moments too. Being vulnerable isn’t easy. Finding time to share your story? Even harder. But here we are.

This media house exists to ask the questions others skip over and uncover the unpolished truths of entrepreneurship. Whether you’re here to feel seen as a fellow builder or just to indulge your curiosity—welcome. This space is yours too.

My Story So Far...

So, here’s the deal.

I’m just another 9-to-5 marketer who decided that wasn’t going to be my whole story. After five years of the predictable grind, I thought, let’s shake things up a little, and started a fintech company as a side project. Solo founder, no safety net. Somehow, I managed to land a spot at Collision, got a ton of interest, and felt like I was on my way to something. Then? It didn’t work out.

But I’m nothing if not stubborn. I tried again. This time, Antler VC came calling, I got in, found co-founders, built a company... and then boom—crashed and burned because of co-founder drama. Plot twist: startups aren’t just about the idea—they’re about people. That failure slapped me awake to the reality of personality types and how much they dictate success.

So, I took my lessons, wandered into the chaos of X (formerly known as Twitter, also formerly known as a functional platform), and found a community. That energy led me to build another product-based company and an agency. Annnnd yeah, those didn’t work out either. Pattern detected? Maybe.

But here’s what I did figure out: I needed mental clarity. And consistency. Two things that sound simple but are, in fact, elusive little gremlins. So now? I’m taking a step back, embracing the figuring it out phase, and sharing my journey as I go. Maybe it turns into something meaningful. Maybe I just end up with great stories. Either way, I’m here for it.

Catch you on the flip side,
